We will be driving from southeast Kansas to Gulf Shores, Alabama this spring break and are trying to decide between 2 routes. Both are the same time/distance according to google maps but we’d prefer to take the one with the most interstates and 4 lanes.

The first option recommends cutting straight down through Arkansas (I40-I530-hwy65-61-49)

The second recommends going east through Missouri, bypassing Memphis and then dropping down through Mississippi (hwy60-63-I555-I22-hwy45)

If anyone has driven these highways and could give us any recommendations we would really appreciate it!
